Requirements
  • Active Secret clearance.
  • Active CompTIA Security+ or Information Assurance Technical Level II certification.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or another related degree.
  • Eight to ten years of professional experience.
  • At least three years of Agile development experience using Azure DevOps or Jira with Git repositories.
  • Experience building and supporting web- and cloud-based applications.
  • Hands-on experience developing and deploying applications in Amazon Web Services environments.
  • Extensive experience with Angular, HTML5, CSS, and modern user-interface templates.
  • Strong proficiency in Java and deep expertise with the Spring Boot framework for enterprise-grade microservices.
  • Experience with Node.js for backend development, application programming interface integration, or tooling.
  • Experience designing and interacting with relational and non-relational databases.
  • Proficiency with Git and modern continuous integration and continuous delivery pipeline tools.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end design and development of robust, high-performance applications using Java and Spring Boot for backend services and Node.js alongside Angular for the frontend.
  • Build application frontends using visual design, modern user-interface templates, HTML5, CSS, and Angular to provide responsive user experiences.
  • Architect, deploy, and maintain secure and scalable cloud environments using Amazon Web Services services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and API Gateway.
  • Design and implement RESTful application programming interfaces and microservices to support efficient data flow between frontend, backend, and database layers.
  • Guide technical teams, conduct code reviews, establish software development best practices, and drive continuous integration and continuous delivery initiatives.
  • Work with stakeholders, product managers, and user-interface/user-experience designers in an Agile environment to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Army HRC ASBS or companion systems.
  • Experience writing SQL for a major database such as Oracle or PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with application programming interface design and documentation using technologies such as JSON and OpenAPI.
  • Familiarity with source control tools such as Git.
  • Experience with vulnerability analysis and remediation.
  • Strong experience with Java and the Spring Boot framework.
  • Proficiency in frontend development with Angular, HTML5, and CSS.
  • Experience with Node.js for backend services or build tooling.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud services, preferably in an Amazon Web Services environment.
  • Experience with Agile development processes such as SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban.
  • Experience with object-oriented programming principles.
