Responsibilities:

• Contribute to Egen’s strategic objectives by identifying and introducing growth opportunities with new technology infrastructure and other IT systems to resolve customer challenges.
• Support the executive team on aspects of business strategy, which include business case documentation, architecture analysis and design, and project delivery.
• Support coordination of cross-functional engineering, QA, and product teams through agile delivery methods.
• Create technical design documents (API contracts and database schema) and well-groomed backlogs that ensure maximum understanding and velocity for developers on our engineering teams.
• Serve as a technical and business-savvy SME to software development engineering personnel on a range of software design and delivery issues for the projects that you support.
• Guide the software development lifecycle to ensure continuously improving technical operations and technology innovation.
• Contribute to the adoption of improved technical approaches and new or enhanced technical tools.
• Effectively identify and resolve delivery dependencies and roadblocks ahead of the development process.
• Take on special projects on an as-needed basis including research on new technologies, as well as identify industry and competitive trends.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor/Master’s degree from a reputed university. Preferrable in computer science or another related technical field.
• 4 years or more of relevant work experience in agile software and data engineering environments including agile delivery and CI/CD. deployment.
• Strong project management skills, including a proven ability to think through all aspects of the process, manage mid to long-term projects, and deliver across multiple priorities.
• Experience working with concepts and technologies behind data-driven, cloud, or ML platforms.
• Experience interacting with senior audiences and executivesDriven self-starter with a passion for excellence and an ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Superb interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships successfully across teams.
• Experience doing industry research, completing competitive landscaping and comparisons, doing value chain analyses, and building presentations.
