Armada.ai provides a cloud-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform that improves visibility and collaboration across the supply chain. It serves logistics providers, manufacturers, and retailers, and connects them through real-time analytics and a shared workflow environment. The core product integrates with customers’ existing systems and offers dashboards, data-driven analytics, and social-network-like collaboration so stakeholders can share information, identify issues quickly, and coordinate responses. Unlike many traditional supply chain tools, Armada.ai focuses on real-time visibility and cross-partner collaboration within a single platform, leveraging integrations rather than replacing current systems. The company’s goal is to help customers run more efficient, cost-effective supply chains by enabling faster decisions and better coordination across all participants.

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • Armada raised $230 million at a $2 billion valuation in May 2026.
  • Fossefall ordered five Leviathans in August 2026 for Nordic AI factories.
  • Orion’s August 2026 launch expands Armada into faster, larger deployments worldwide.

What critics are saying

  • Galleon Forge One must ramp by summer 2026; slippage breaks delivery credibility.
  • Fossefall and Saudi-style mega-deals create concentration risk before Armada diversifies revenue.
  • If capital costs, power access, or NVIDIA refresh cycles slip, Armada’s factory model stalls.

What makes Armada unique

  • Armada sells customer-owned, sovereign AI factories, not rented hyperscaler capacity.
  • Orion packs 10MW, Blackwell-ready compute, power, and cooling into months-long deployments.
  • Dell, Johnson Controls, and Mitsui validate Armada’s industrial infrastructure model in 2026.

Dell Technologies and Armada sign strategic MoU to accelerate Mobile and Edge Data infrastructure across Saudi arabi.

Dell Technologies and Armada sign strategic MoU to accelerate Mobile and Edge Data infrastructure across Saudi arabi. Dell Technologies and Armada have announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to join forces in delivering containerized Mobile and Edge Data Center solutions across Saudi Arabia. The MoU was signed during LEAP 2026 in Riyadh between Mohamed Talaat, Vice President, Saudi, Egypt, North Africa & Levant (SENAL), Dell Technologies and Rabee El Mohammadi, Vice President, Sales and Partnerships, MEA at Armada. The MoU establishes a strategic framework to address high-demand projects that require fast, flexible access to localized compute and storage capabilities. Under the MoU, Dell's enterprise hardware and modern infrastructure stack, is envisaged to be integrated with Armada's specialized mobile, containerized data center solutions, enabling high-performance infrastructure for customers across the Kingdom. The joint initiative will focus on key sectors including energy, telecommunications, manufacturing and public infrastructure by expanding reach to enterprise customers through Dell's authorized regional channel partner network. By bringing compute and storage closer to where data is generated, the collaboration is intended to support real-time Edge AI applications, strengthen data sovereignty and help maintain operational continuity in remote and resource constrained environments. Mohamed Talaat, Vice President, Saudi, Egypt, North Africa & Levant (SENAL), Dell Technologies, said: "Our collaboration with Armada represents a pivotal step in expanding resilient, mobile edge infrastructure across Saudi Arabia. By pairing Dell's high-performance hardware stack with Armada's containerized data center design, we are empowering enterprises to deploy Edge AI with speed, scale and reliability in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030." Rabee El Mohammadi, Vice President, Sales and Partnerships, MEA at Armada, said: "This strategic MoU with Dell Technologies significantly strengthens Armada's ability to deliver mission-critical AI and edge infrastructure across Saudi Arabia. Combining our edge platform with Dell's world-class technology allows us to solve our customers' most demanding operational challenges. Together, we seek to deliver actionable compute directly to field operations, remote assets and critical enterprise environments in the Kingdom."

Armada launches Orion, a 10MW modular AI data centre deployable in months

Armada has launched Orion, a 10-megawatt modular data centre designed for rapid AI infrastructure deployment. The unit supports up to 2,880 GPUs across 40 racks and can be delivered within months, with multiple units scaling to hundreds of megawatts across distributed sites. The launch follows Fossefall's announcement that it selected Armada to supply five Leviathan Galleons for AI factories in Norway, Sweden, and Finland. Fossefall aims to build over 1 gigawatt of Nordic-owned AI capacity by 2030. Orion is compatible with NVIDIA Blackwell architecture and runs on Armada Bridge, the company's platform for distributed infrastructure. Each unit packages compute, networking, power, and cooling into a prefabricated six-module core. The modular approach allows deployment at sites with low-cost or stranded power whilst reducing construction disruption and enabling incremental power infrastructure installation.

Armada launches 10MW modular data center, Orion.

Armada launches 10MW modular data center, Orion. The largest iteration of Armada's Galleon family August 26, 2026 Edge modular data center specialist Armada has launched a 10MW model in its Galleon family of products. Dubbed Orion, this is the most powerful modular data center offering from the company, an almost 10x increase compared to last year's Leviathan launch, which was a 1.77MW modular data center and itself a ~10x increase over the previous offering. Orion is designed to be deployed within existing structures and can be scaled to hundreds of megawatts across distributed sites. It can be co-located with distributed power, including stranded or behind-the-meter power solutions. Each module has compute, networking, power, and cooling, in a prefabricated six-module core that can support up to 2,880 GPUs across 40 racks, and is compatible with Nvidia Blackwell hardware and has Vera Rubin-ready architecture. Units can be delivered within months. "AI infrastructure should be fast to deploy, easy to scale, and sovereign wherever it needs to live," said Dan Wright, co-founder and CEO of Armada. "Orion raises the ceiling on what a single deployment can deliver - ten megawatts per unit, infinitely scalable, in months instead of years. And because our customers own and operate it, on their land and their power, it's infrastructure the cloud can never be: theirs." Armada to support Fossefall's Nordic data center development. Earlier this week, Armada announced it had secured a contract with Nordic-based data center company Fossefall for the deployment of five Leviathan modules. The modular data centers, totaling more than 9MW of capacity, are scheduled to be delivered by Q1 2027. The deal, totaling "several hundred million NOK," will support projects across Norway, Sweden, and Finland. Fossefall said it will will own and operate the GPU infrastructure inside the Leviathans "We selected Armada for its best-in-class technology, proven execution capabilities, and ability to significantly accelerate time to market," said Øyvind Vesterdal, CEO of Fossefall. "We were also keen to work with a strategic partner manufacturing in Europe, to provide a resilient supply chain and reduce exposure to global disruptions. By refining clean energy into high-tech AI capacity, we will ensure national control over critical technology, create a billion-kroner export industry and produce significant local economic benefits." The company raised $230 million in May 2026. At the time, the company announced plans to launch a new production space, known as Galleon Forge One, in partnership with Johnson Controls. Set to span up to 400,000 square feet (37,161 sqm), and expected to create 500 jobs, the new manufacturing plans would enable continuous production of the company's modules.
