Requirements
  • Two to five years of experience in a support, technical support, or customer success role, preferably in a SaaS or fintech environment.
  • Experience troubleshooting application programming interface, enterprise resource planning, or payment-related issues.
  • Accounting knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience with ticketing systems such as HubSpot, Zendesk, Pylon, or similar, and creating self-service content.
  • Some level of out-of-hours coverage is required for the 24x7 SaaS operation.
Responsibilities
  • Resolve complex support issues from merchants via email, Slack, and chat, ensuring fast, clear, and accurate responses.
  • Own ticket triage and prioritization, identify root causes, and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to invoicing, payments, integrations such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Stripe, and merchant data workflows.
  • Identify patterns and recurring issues and provide actionable insights to Product and Engineering.
  • Educate and empower merchants by proactively guiding them on best practices for using Tabs.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success, Engineering, and Contract Operations to ensure high-priority issues are addressed efficiently.
  • Contribute to internal documentation, improve processes, and reduce repeated inquiries.
  • Drive improvements, identify trends, and proactively prevent recurring issues.
  • Diagnose data mismatches between Tabs and enterprise resource planning systems, extract and format necessary data, coordinate fixes with Engineering, and ensure pending invoices are sent.
  • Investigate payment failures, determine root causes, coordinate resolutions with Engineering, and guide merchants through preventative actions.
  • Create internal playbooks and proactive education materials to reduce recurring support tickets.
