As a Partner Account Manager, you will be the primary relationship manager for partners in your territory. You will plan and execute go-to-market strategies, develop sales and marketing initiatives, facilitate sales enablement, and manage partner growth within the region.
In this role, you’ll combine partner management with business development, and you’ll manage business relationships with key partners and prospects to develop sales and growth initiatives.
Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities
·Responsible for partner discovery, recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing partner support.
·Previous experience in managing networking/technology partnerships.
·Require a strong ability to develop new partners.
·Ownership of strategic vision for the channel partners in the region which includes creation of business plans for each identified partner. Business plans include strategic goals specifically targeting Extreme Networks.
·Manage onboarding and enablement processes while closely tracking partner progress.
·Identify gaps and suggest strategies to improve partnerships.
·Facilitate Extreme Networks’ resources effectively, resources may include sales, marketing, sales engineering, sales operations, and others.
·Track all partner activities in CRM (SFDC/Clari).
·Responsible for day-to-day visibility and timely responses within accounts.
·Responsibility for partner’s visibility and perception within Extreme’s sales organization and responsible for internal evangelism of partners’ capabilities and competencies.
·Responsible for all communication to partners and positioning to partners.
·Position Extreme Network’s rules of Engagement throughout the organization.
·Facilitate regular sales updates with Extreme Network’s channel leadership and contribute to the strategic efforts in the region.
Required Skill Set & Experience
·5+ years of relevant work experience in Channel/Sales in the IT industry.
·Experience building business and marketing plans with Partners.
·Candidates must reside in territory.
·Travel availability within region.
·University degree preferred.
