As part of this role, you will get an opportunity to work on various layers of the storage stack, including all aspects of operating systems and file systems, distributed systems, high performance protocol stacks, and next-generation virtualization technology.

What you’ll achieve

As a Software Senior Engineer, you will help shape the vision and deliver on the next generation of automation and tools for the NAS suite of products.

You will

• Maintain automated processes, virtual and hardware infrastructure; monitor systems and troubleshoot failures for large scale distributed storage environments
• Contribute to the design and implementation of tools, processes, and infrastructure to support Continuous Integration pipeline
• Implement company standards and practices to ensure quality and security by code by reviewing, providing feedback, and improving solutions.
• Learn and share knowledge on hands-on sessions and by maintaining documentation
• Represent the organization on project teams and perform technical project leadership roles as needed. The sphere of influence is to extend outside of work group or department.

Essential Requirements

• Extensive coding experience with Python, Linux Shell and understanding of data structures and algorithm.
• Experience working with Unix/Linux/BSD operating systems
• Experience working with high availability services in private cloud or hybrid cloud environment
• Data driven mindset and experience of data analysis
• 5+ years of experience as a software developer with BA/BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.

• Degree in Computer Science or related field
