Our Technical Program Management Team is searching for a Senior TPM to partner directly with our Cloud, Apps, Tools, & Test (CATT) engineering teams.  The CATT team at Motional plays a critical role in the overarching quality of applications, cloud, and data infrastructure.  As TPM you’ll provide insight to stakeholders requests, oversee development and implementation of features and integrated products. You’ll work closely with both developers and internal stakeholders to define and execute early functionality.  You’ll be responsible for gathering regular feedback from developers to understand issues and improvements for future iterations. You’ll have a daily impact on the achievement of self-driving targets by contributing to the quality-first approach to the cloud and data infrastructure.

What You’ll Do

• Take charge of our cloud cost strategies and prioritizations, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost optimization
• Formulate and take ownership of the roadmap for enhancing our ML and Data infrastructure. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive optimization initiatives
• Resolve challenges related to our Remote Vehicle Assistance application by forging strong partnerships with operations, test engineering, and software development teams. Ensure smooth operations and timely issue resolution
• Champion process and procedure improvements to streamline day-to-day operations, enhance efficiency, and drive excellence in project execution
• Collaborate closely with our engineering team to achieve successful project outcomes. Facilitate clear communication of business needs and requirements, prioritize backlogs, and eliminate obstacles in the development process
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences

What We’re Looking For

• Over 4 years of demonstrable experience in driving complex, multi-disciplinary technical programs with competing priorities (cost, schedule, feasibility)
• Strong leadership and exceptional interpersonal skills, strongly prefer prior SWEs
• Familiarity with cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure). Experience with large scale distributed systems. Understanding of data pipelines and ELTs. 
• Proven ability to drive cohesion, collaboration and decision making among different people & functions
• Comfortable with working with cross-functional, remote teams in multiple global locations
• A passion for learning new concepts and adapting quickly to new environments
• Adept at prioritizing multiple work streams in a high pressure environment
• Strong written and oral communication skills, especially the ability to communicate complex engineering issues and tailor messaging based on audience
• Ability to work in Motional’s office 2-3 days per week. Preferred location: Las Vegas
• Degree in Engineering, Robotics, or related field. Preferred experience with Software development
