HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT:
40% Compensation Program Management
- Leads the administration of compensation programs that support the global compensation needs for all corporate, retail and distribution locations.
- In partnership with the Director, implements, communicates, and administers global broad-based compensation programs and incentives.
- Manages the annual merit and midyear compensation cycles, including creating customized communication statements.
- Manages the library of job descriptions across all functions and creates/maintains the job profile setup in Workday. Creates and maintains documentation around job architecture/leveling guidance for all jobs.
30% Compensation Analysis
- Leads annual salary survey process – recommend surveys to purchase, prepare participation materials, submit data, and identify gaps where additional survey data may be needed.
- Performs ad hoc analyses as needed to provide guidance and direction on the creation of new compensation programs and initiatives or the redesign of current programs.
- Ownership of compensation structures / wage grades. Analyzes jobs using both market and internal data, determines appropriate wage grade within the appropriate structure. Keeps structures updated and communicated with all partners
30% Consultative Delivery
- Works closely with HR Business Partners to provide consulting and day to day compensation support.
- Will help drive continued implementation and use of Workday for compensation processes. Works with the HR team to bridge the gap between current processes and Workday functionality.
- Partners with finance, legal and other departments as needed to ensure compliance with employee compensation practices and policies.
- Liaise with external compensation consultants and vendors on as-needed basis
WE’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF:
- Advanced skill level required in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to multi-task while remaining focused on accuracy.
- Highly motivated with a strong customer central focus.
- Ability to partner and effectively communicate with members of the HR team as well as cross-functionally.
- HRIS reporting capabilities, preferably within Workday.
- Strong understanding of Human Resource principles.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 4+ years of compensation experience, preferably in a global organization.
- Prior experience maintaining and supporting compensation programs.
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot issues. Resolve the root cause.
- Workday experience preferred.
