Requirements
  • At least 3 years of related property management experience as a Maintenance Supervisor is required.
  • Experience in all trades is required.
  • Excellent written, communication, and computer skills are required.
  • Previous supervisory experience is required.
  • A current driver's license and auto insurance are required.
  • The ability to work weekends and overtime as required by the job is required.
Responsibilities
  • Direct employees and outside contractors in apartment renovations, service requests, structural repairs, and grounds maintenance.
  • Obtain bids for work from outside contractors, assemble and analyze the bids, and submit them to superiors for action.
  • Order and receive supplies, appliances, and equipment from vendors.
  • Coordinate work performed by outside vendors and inspect completed work for conformance to specifications and standards.
  • Inspect facilities and equipment to determine the need and extent of service, required equipment, and service type.
  • Study production schedules and estimate worker-hour requirements for completing job assignments.
  • Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
  • Suggest changes in working conditions and equipment use to increase work-crew efficiency.
  • Assist the Property Manager in planning and administering the maintenance budget.
  • Participate in after-hours and emergency coverage as assigned by the supervisor.

  • Yardi experience is preferred.
