Requirements
  • 8+ years of product management experience, plus 5+ years leading people.
  • Experience in retail, store operations, or internal employee tools.
  • A track record of shipping impactful products in a fast-paced, agile environment (bonus points if you've done it in a heavily matrixed org!).
  • Strong ability to drive prioritization and trade-off decisions across complex cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills—written and verbal.
  • A focus on outcomes, not outputs—measuring success based on business and customer impact.
  • Experience working with and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science or related experience required.
Responsibilities
  • Set a clear, inspiring product vision and lead the creation of a roadmap that aligns to company priorities and store team needs.
  • Coach and develop a team of product managers, helping them grow while ensuring delivery of high-impact initiatives.
  • Translate ambiguous problems into clear strategies that balance customer, business, and technical needs.
  • Advocate for streamlined, easy-to-use solutions that remove friction from store operations.
  • Modernize legacy systems and workflows with industry-informed best practices and scalable tools.
  • Use experimentation, data, and iteration to improve outcomes for our store employees.
  • Build strong relationships across Nordstrom’s technology, product and business teams across our divisions.
  • Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization—from executives to in-store users to individual engineers.
  • Align teams through compelling storytelling, data-driven rationale, and grounded optimism.
  • Be a doer and a driver—able to push work forward, navigate blockers, and deliver tangible value.
  • Track and measure success using clear KPIs tied to productivity, efficiency, and experience.
  • Help the team stay focused on delivering what matters most, adjusting priorities when needed.
