Requirements
  • Certifications are highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with either MEDITECH or Epic HIS.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and implement and or enhancements to the MEDITECH or Epic HIS.
  • Provide end-user support, troubleshooting, and training to ensure effective utilization of the HIS.
  • Customize and optimize system configurations to meet the specific needs of our healthcare organization.
  • Collaborate with IT and clinical staff to ensure seamless integration of HIS with other healthcare systems.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and updates related to MEDITECH or Epic HIS.
  • Participate in system upgrades and implementations, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations.
  • Document processes, procedures, and configurations related to the HIS.
