About the Role:
Spreedly is seeking a Director of Revenue Operations to lead its Revenue Operations team, supporting a dynamic business with a global go-to-market (GTM) strategy, multiple revenue streams, and significant customer growth.
In this role, you will oversee Spreedly’s sales and revenue forecasting processes while driving productivity and efficiency across the GTM organization. You will manage the processes, technologies, and operational functions for the Sales, Partnerships, Customer Success, and Professional Services teams. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders is essential to ensure the appropriate objectives and priorities are set within the GTM organization.
The ideal candidate for this position possesses exceptional financial planning skills and is a natural planner. They should be passionate about creating efficient processes, enjoy evaluating, implementing, and integrating systems, and feel comfortable leading a diverse team that occupies a central role in various critical business functions. This person will leverage their strengths to support teams and make a significant day-to-day impact on the business. A strategic and critical thinker, this person should be excited about leading a team focused on analyzing complex problems and data sets and proactively providing solutions to enhance GTM revenue teams’ success.
This role is open to candidates who currently reside in the Greater Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area.
Responsibilities:
- Own the corporate sales and revenue forecasting process end to end. Synthesize data and collaborate with finance and executive leaders on impact and strategy
- Lead the Revenue Operations team to identify opportunities to drive revenue, such as GTM strategies, tactics to streamline the customer lifecycle, and potential sales process improvements
- Oversee GTM systems (SFDC, Gong, etc.) and data administration and recommend tools to improve data quality, analysis, reporting, dashboards, etc.
- Provide actionable intelligence on GTM operations, sales team performance, win/loss analysis, conversion, and KPIs regularly, including monthly and quarterly executive leadership and board-level reporting and analysis
- Drive the renewal, at-risk, NPS, and VoC processes with the Account Management and Customer Success teams by establishing clear guidelines and playbooks for execution, as well as scalable reporting and analytics in partnership with the Data team
- Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to develop, document, and execute Spreedly’s GTM strategy, quarterly plans, and program blueprints to reach revenue goals
- Enhance business processes to ensure strategic alignment and provide timely insights for decision-making.
- Maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the GTM organization’s planning efforts
- Provide input to GTM leadership on the development and administration of incentive compensation programs while owning the end-to-end variable compensation process and program - designing the compensation plans, quota-setting process, and maintenance of quotas
- Manage the Revenue Operations team’s budget and tools
Requirements:
- 8+ years of work experience in revenue operations, sales operations, or strategic sales roles in a high-growth SaaS/fintech environment with multiple revenue streams
- 3+ years of experience leading and scaling a revenue operations function
- Demonstrated fluency with SaaS reporting and KPIs, as well as end-to-end revenue management best practices in a SaaS operating model
- Experience with Salesforce and Salesforce CPQ, Looker (or a similar BI tool)
- Proven understanding of financial planning and analysis, with the ability to consume information from the FP&A team and build complex mathematical models
- Experience managing and leading a high-performing team leveraging OKRs
- Proven proficiency in identifying, diagnosing, and resolving problems while prioritizing critical issues and mapping long-term cross-departmental needs
- Excellent analytical skills - able to compile large amounts of data into an easily digestible format for executive decision-making
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills and a desire to collaborate and provide cross-functional team leadership
- Ability to articulate and manage key OKRs and use metrics to drive performance
- Ability to travel internationally approximately 10% of the time.
