Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, mathematics, computer science, economics, human resources, or related discipline
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; TS/SCI with polygraph desired
  • U.S. citizenship or eligibility for clearance (Applicants must meet eligibility requirements for a U.S. Government security clearance)
  • On-site work requirement: five days a week at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB) or Reston, Virginia
  • Ability to travel and work on client sites
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and presentation skills
  • Excellent customer relationship management skills
  • Desire to gain technical skills in strategy development, talent management, process mapping, organizational change, workforce planning and analysis, data analysis and visualization, and/or competency management, including certifications
  • Management consulting experience desired
  • Experience with project management, data analysis, business analysis, and/or strategic communications and multimedia tools and methods
Responsibilities
  • Engage technical and functional program subject matter experts and key data stakeholders to understand business processes, analytical requirements, key data elements, data protection guidelines, interpret analytic results
  • Implement pre-specified research or analysis plans
  • Provide regular detailed reporting to management and customers
  • Collaborate with team members internally and externally in a timely and proactive manner
  • Define and develop techniques to integrate, consolidate, and structure data for analytical use
  • Understand and analyze complex and organization-specific datasets
  • Transform data and analysis into informative visualizations and interactive dashboards using open-source and commercially available visualization and dashboard tools
  • Develop briefing packages to communicate complex ideas to non-technical customers
  • Advise on the interpretation and use of data analysis products and reports
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of or experience with data governance, data protection practices and federal data handling guidelines
  • Experience in federal government environments or with classified data
  • Experience with Tableau or other data visualization tools beyond Tableau
  • Proficiency in Python or R beyond basic usage
  • Experience with data engineering collaboration and data pipelines
  • Ability to obtain or maintain additional certifications (e.g., in strategy development, talent management)
  • Security clearance enhancements or polygraph clearance related certifications
