Requirements
  • B.S. candidate in Chemistry/Biochemistry or related subjects.
  • Prior experience working in a chemistry or biochemistry laboratory.
  • A high degree of flexibility and self-motivation in a fast-paced work environment with excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize appropriately and meet timelines.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Support solid-phase synthesis of oligonucleotides using automated DNA/RNA synthesizers.
  • Assist in HPLC purification and UPLC and LCMS analysis of research scale long oligonucleotides.
  • Preparing buffers and solutions for guide RNA purification and analysis.
  • Track and manage chemical, reagent, and consumables inventory and ordering.
  • Assist with maintenance and troubleshooting lab equipment such as synthesizers, speedvacs, lyophilizers, and HPLC instrumentation.
  • Maintain a well-documented electronic laboratory notebook (ELN). Track progress, analyze, interpret, and present data within the team and cross-functional teams.
  • Conducting lab work safely and efficiently, ensuring a safe working environment for colleagues.
