Stephen Luparello will retire as chairman of OCC's board of directors in January 2027 after nine years of service. Michael Bodson, former president and CEO of Depository Trust & Clearing Corp. (DTCC), has been elected as a public director and will succeed Luparello as chairman. Bodson brings over 35 years of experience leading major financial institutions. He served as DTCC's president and CEO from 2012 to 2022, guiding the company through significant market events including the COVID-19 pandemic and meme-stock volatility. OCC, the world's largest equity derivatives clearing organisation, has appointed Jeffrey S. Davis, senior vice president and senior deputy general counsel of Nasdaq, to its Board of Directors as an Exchange Director. The announcement came during OCC's annual stockholder meeting on 22 April 2026. Davis joined Nasdaq in 2000 and advises the company's board on regulatory obligations whilst serving as chief regulatory officer of Nasdaq ISE Exchanges. He replaces Roland Chai, also of Nasdaq. The meeting also saw Stephen Luparello re-elected as chairman, whilst CEO Andrej Bolkovic was re-elected as Management Director. Two Member Directors and one Public Director were re-elected, and four Exchange Directors were reappointed to new terms.
