Requirements
  • BA / BS with 3-4 years of experience in corporate FP&A and/or strategic finance at a high-growth startup, investment banking, or equivalent finance role in a fast-moving environment
  • Expert in Excel / Google Sheets with experience building complex formulas, utilizing advanced functions, and proficiency in manipulating large data sets
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Highly organized self starter with a drive to dig into complex problems with excellent analytical & problem solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate and influence effectively across various teams and departments
Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Landing senior leadership team on key strategic discussions and analyses, provide recommendations, and help drive execution on critical business initiatives
  • Support business partners on various on-going and ad hoc initiatives, including the sales teams on commission planning, controls, and data management surrounding sales compensation
  • Support monthly forecasts and long-range planning, with an emphasis on improving model functionality, modeling new product lines, and utilizing the corporate model for ad-hoc scenario analyses
  • Assist with monthly close pack processes end-to-end, monitoring fluxes on key spend and flagging any potential issues / risks through timely variance analysis
  • Diving into financial details including by GL account journal entities to support the monthly flux analysis, as well as ensuring the financial accuracy of our financial statements
  • Work closely with the head of revenue and head of GL accounting to support timely and accurate accruals, the creation of the monthly close pack, as well system implementation and new process creation
  • Monitor key internal and external metrics to prepare financial business reviews and highlight areas of focus to executives and key stakeholders in the business
  • Maintain a deep understanding of our financial processes and refine them to scale with the growth of the company
  • Collaborate with the broader finance team on various fundraising initiatives, board decks, and investor relations related requests
  • Perform data-driven analysis for various business initiatives and key stakeholders across the organization while enabling the team to move quickly
  • Partner with the broader Accounting group to manage close timelines, processes, and reporting
