Responsibilities

Work closely with the Landing senior leadership team on key strategic discussions and analyses, provide recommendations, and help drive execution on critical business initiatives
Support business partners on various on-going and ad hoc initiatives, including the sales teams on commission planning, controls, and data management surrounding sales compensation
Support monthly forecasts and long-range planning, with an emphasis on improving model functionality, modeling new product lines, and utilizing the corporate model for ad-hoc scenario analyses
Assist with monthly close pack processes end-to-end, monitoring fluxes on key spend and flagging any potential issues / risks through timely variance analysis
Diving into financial details including by GL account journal entities to support the monthly flux analysis, as well as ensuring the financial accuracy of our financial statements
Work closely with the head of revenue and head of GL accounting to support timely and accurate accruals, the creation of the monthly close pack, as well system implementation and new process creation
Monitor key internal and external metrics to prepare financial business reviews and highlight areas of focus to executives and key stakeholders in the business
Maintain a deep understanding of our financial processes and refine them to scale with the growth of the company
Collaborate with the broader finance team on various fundraising initiatives, board decks, and investor relations related requests
Perform data-driven analysis for various business initiatives and key stakeholders across the organization while enabling the team to move quickly
Partner with the broader Accounting group to manage close timelines, processes, and reporting

About the Team:

Our Finance and Strategy team is looking for a highly passionate and motivated individual to focus on financial analysis and strategic planning to support our executive and business teams. We are looking for an individual who will thrive in a startup environment and can juggle multiple projects and priorities at one time. You will be responsible for designing and preparing financial plans, monthly full P&L forecasts, and annual budgets. Tasks that you will own include modeling new business opportunities and their financial outcomes and unit economics, full-cycle commission planning and calculations, and supporting business partners on ad hoc projects. The position requires a highly motivated individual who can adapt and deliver results working in a hyper-growth, fast-paced environment and can work cross-functionally across the entire organization.
