  • Experience using data, research, and analytics to prioritize prospects, manage portfolios, and drive fundraising outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Implement major gift methodology to build a portfolio of major donor supporters and prospects through regional and Texas-based strategies, setting and executing fundraising strategies for each.
  • Conduct 100 visits and 25 solicitations annually, with 50% of solicitations exceeding $100,000, and consistently close $2–4 million per year outside of transformational gifts.
  • Perform prospect research, portfolio management, and stewardship to maintain a steady and well-tended portfolio.
  • Match donor interests with institutional priorities to pursue unrestricted funding for the University of Austin.
  • Plan and execute donor events, including dinners and receptions, in key cities and with key constituency groups.
  • Work with University of Austin team members to coordinate programs, donor messaging materials, online fundraising, and related activities.
  • Cultivate and manage a portfolio of mission-aligned current and prospective donors while executing sophisticated moves management strategies to secure five-plus-figure gifts.
