Pirros.io provides a Detail Management System for architects and engineers to store, search, and reuse design details in a centralized library. Details can be uploaded from Revit and automatically tagged with metadata to improve search and filtering, enabling users to reuse elements across projects without recreating them. The platform integrates with Revit to streamline importing details into the library and supports metadata tagging for easy retrieval. The service targets firms in the AEC industry, addressing the common inefficiency of duplicating work for new projects. Pirros likely uses a subscription model with tiered pricing based on firm size and user count, potentially offering premium analytics or support as add-ons. Its goal is to save time and resources for architectural and engineering teams by making project details reusable and easy to manage.

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • Pirros raised $15 million Series A in December 2025, extending runway for product expansion.
  • Pirros claims 300+ customers and 15,000+ users, signaling broad AEC adoption.
  • Free Mira access for non-customers in 2026 creates a strong top-of-funnel growth wedge.

What critics are saying

  • Pirros depends heavily on Revit; Autodesk product changes can cripple distribution and workflow relevance.
  • A 43-employee team must support AI, plugin, and onboarding; execution gaps can stall enterprise adoption.
  • If Mira disappoints or integration breaks, architects revert to spreadsheets and shared drives quickly.

What makes Pirros unique

  • Mira embeds natural-language Revit automation directly into design production workflows, launched June 10, 2026.
  • Pirros' Revit plugin supports Revit 2020-2026, enabling upload, sync, and reuse inside Revit.
  • Customer stories from Lake Flato and David Baker show firm-specific knowledge becomes a reusable system.
