Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar engineering degree
  • 8+ years of experience in software development, including JavaScript for front-end and .Net or Java for backend
  • Strong web development skills including, HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3
  • Experience with web frameworks like (Vue.js, React.js, Angular) is strong plus
  • Experience with web services like (SOAP, WCF, REST, GraphQL)
  • Development experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
  • An understanding of agile software development and testing principles and practices
  • Experience applying user experience design principles to create products with great UI components
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Experience with big data technologies would be an asset
  • Experience with cloud-based services would be an asset, but not required
  • Automation and continuous deployment experience

Responsibilities
  • We are seeking an experienced, talented, highly motivated Principal Software Engineer/Technical Lead who has a successful track record utilizing modern technologies for Architecture and Implementation of Systems that include UI and Backend development. You will have the opportunity to make a direct impact on the technical direction of our products, working with our robotic application interface to improve its core functionality and add new features while maintaining and developing the backend environment. This role is perfect for someone who loves a fast-paced startup environment and wants to break into the robotics field
