Requirements
  • A doctorate or master's degree in information science or library science from an ALA-accredited institution is required.
  • Professional experience and research publications in a field related to the course are required.
  • An acceptable combination of education and/or experience may be considered equivalent to the stated educational requirement and/or demonstrated experience.
  • Proficiency in French is required as the language of instruction.
Responsibilities
  • Teach the course on learning and instruction.
  • Cover theories and practices related to learning and the design of instructional materials for competency development and lifelong learning at personal, organizational, and societal levels.
  • Address the training role of information professionals in relation to information services, enabling users to conduct independent research, and training staff.
  • Examine technologies that support learning and their different approaches.
