Role Overview
In this role, you take primary responsibility for managing the Clearing, Settlement and Exposure Monitoring functions for the Trade Services department in the US, which supports the Equities and Fixed Income business for various brands under the TPICAP umbrella. You also support post trade processing for our Global Broking clients and Agency Execution institutional members/clients.
Role Responsibilities:
Manage the post-execution aspects of the trade lifecycle, ensuring all clients/members are allocated at the end of the day, handle and escalate exceptions, and address settlement issues such as failing trades, reclaims, buy-ins, and large exposure items.
Oversee the Trade Services team, working with client Traders, Operations teams, internal Brokers, Relationship Managers, Sales, and Support teams to resolve pre and post-allocation issues, exceptions, failed trades, pnl, and reporting.
Handle relationships with clearing firms and vendors to resolve account, settlement, risk, and change issues.
Manage the Exposure Monitoring platform vendor, ensuring risks are captured, categorized, and managed until closure.
Raise improvement/change items, participate in and sign off on required testing before deployment.
Lead and participate in Member events and operational reviews.
Ensure team cross-training on all Trade Services positions.
Oversee the onboarding process for new Members and Clients.
Execute projects for system enhancements or Member requests.
Manage staff development, performance reviews, and recruitment needs.

Effective team management and coordination with various internal and external stakeholders.
Proficient in managing vendor relationships and overseeing platform risk management.
Experience in leading and participating in operational reviews and managing onboarding processes.
Proven ability to oversee staff development and handle recruitment needs.
