Responsibilities
  • Manage the post-execution aspects of the trade lifecycle, ensuring all clients/members are allocated at the end of the day, handle and escalate exceptions, and address settlement issues such as failing trades, reclaims, buy-ins, and large exposure items.
  • Oversee the Trade Services team, working with client Traders, Operations teams, internal Brokers, Relationship Managers, Sales, and Support teams to resolve pre and post-allocation issues, exceptions, failed trades, pnl, and reporting.
  • Handle relationships with clearing firms and vendors to resolve account, settlement, risk, and change issues.
  • Manage the Exposure Monitoring platform vendor, ensuring risks are captured, categorized, and managed until closure.
  • Raise improvement/change items, participate in and sign off on required testing before deployment.
  • Lead and participate in Member events and operational reviews.
  • Ensure team cross-training on all Trade Services positions.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new Members and Clients.
  • Execute projects for system enhancements or Member requests.
  • Manage staff development, performance reviews, and recruitment needs.
