Required Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent in Human Resources
  • 2-5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources position
  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Certified Professional in Human Resources (SHRM or PHR) preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of ADP e-Time (preferred)
  • Coordinate employee new hire orientation, benefits eligibility, open enrollment, terminations and payments
  • Conduct investigations into employee complaints/concerns and issue disciplinary actions
  • Assist foreman/supervisor evaluate, approve, and process employee termination and disciplinary actions
  • Preparation of reports and documents of confidential and non-confidential nature
  • Post employee job openings and assist in the recruiting process
  • Manage administration of FMLA, unemployment claims, and PTO tracking
  • Assist Safety Department on tracking and closing out employee Workman’s Comp claims
  • Coordinate with EHS Department on administered Drug Screen testing
  • Engage with employees at assigned workstations regularly
  • Provide verification of employment to various organizations
  • Answer employee questions about company policies and procedures
  • Maintain confidentiality on employee and company matters
  • Maintain employee personnel and medical files in compliance with HIPAA
  • Translation of forms, memos, posting, and correspondence between English and Spanish
  • Post/update Labor Law posters, inform employees of new policies, update employee handbook
  • Establish an employee development/retention program
  • Develop, track, and maintain updates of job tier wages based on employee performance metrics
  • Maintain effective communication with Corporate Human Resources team
