Requirements
  • Active Secret security clearance.
  • A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field; an additional four years of relevant professional work experience may substitute for the degree.
  • Five years of professional experience in a relevant role.
  • Demonstrated understanding of data security principles, data management practices, Extract, Transform, Load processes, and data integration best practices.
  • Experience supporting the development and sustainment of the Advana technology platform, including dashboard development and customization.
  • Ability to present analytical findings clearly, concisely, and in an executive-level format to senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.
  • Must currently live within a reasonable commutable distance of 50 miles from Alexandria, Virginia, and must not require relocation.
Responsibilities
  • Support the development and sustainment of an Advana dashboard integrating data across multiple systems.
  • Support monthly and quarterly data collection efforts and deliver program metric briefings to senior Department of War leadership using real-time dashboards.
  • Develop within the Advana platform using tools and technologies such as Databricks, Tableau, SQL, Python, Java, Qlik, or similar data science and engineering languages.
  • Design, develop, and maintain QlikView and Qlik Sense applications, dashboards, and reports supporting the Advana technology platform.
  • Support data ingestion, cleansing, transformation, and loading activities within Advana.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address Department of War Chief Information Officer data and reporting requirements.
  • Develop and maintain program documentation, including procedural guides and platform architecture design documents.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Advana-related technical and reporting issues.
