Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented CAD Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the development and maintenance of architectural, engineering, and community mapping projects. This position involves collaboration across departments, using CAD tools to ensure accuracy in design documentation, community mapping, and data integration for homebuilding operations.
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Community Map Configuration and Maintenance:
- Create, edit, and manage community maps using AutoCAD and other design tools.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure interactive 3D map versions are updated in the KOVA system and accessible for sales contracts.
- Periodically revise community maps to reflect new lot releases, lot status changes, or premium adjustments.
- Plan and Lot Fit Matrix Development:
- Prepare and send architectural plans, plats, and construction documents (PDF and DWG formats) to partners.
- Organize and disseminate final lot fit matrix documents to relevant stakeholders, including sales representatives, area construction managers, and directors.
- KOVA System Maintenance:
- Update floorplans, redline documents, and blackline details within the KOVA system to align with changes in construction and sales documentation.
- Ensure all updated plans and community data are accurately reflected in brochures, contracts, and the web configurator.
- Plan Change Management:
- Track, document, and process plan changes in coordination with engineering, marketing, and construction teams.
- Notify trade partners and internal teams about revisions and ensure timely implementation.
- Data Integration and Analysis:
- Manage data upload and maintenance for KOVA, including configuration of milestones, lot numbers, and status colors.
- Generate accurate reports on community and lot progress for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support and Collaboration:
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure all visual assets align with the latest floorplans and community details.
- Coordinate with external vendors and trade partners to facilitate seamless transitions in community and plan updates.
- Provide preliminary lot fits and exhibits for the land team during community rollouts.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Acrobat, and related design tools.
- Familiarity with KOVA system functionalities, including community setup, redlining, and configurator updates.
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating across departments and with external stakeholders.
- Experience with data visualization and report generation is a plus.
- Background in residential construction or real estate development.
- Hands-on experience with interactive map systems or 3D design integration.
- Knowledge of community mapping and construction milestones setup.
Supervisory Responsibility: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time, exempt position. Under the Regulations, Part 541, an exempt employee is one who is not entitled to the minimum wage or overtime pay protections of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Days and hours of work are [Monday through Friday, between 9:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.] This position may work outside of normal business hours to include evenings and weekends as needed.
Travel: Less than 10% travel is expected for this position.
