Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of credit risk management, especially counterparty credit risk.
- Prior experience leading a team of 15 business analysts and business systems analysts in structured data gathering, research, and analysis.
- Prior experience implementing a risk aggregation system involving coordination with downstream source systems and upstream data needs for enterprise global risk management analysts.
- Strong understanding of credit risk exposures, including potential future exposure, credit valuation adjustment, and exchange-traded derivatives, as well as general-ledger reconciliation at the ledger level.
- Strong understanding of commercial loans, securities, over-the-counter products, exchange-traded derivatives, and repurchase agreement products.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 15 business analysts and business systems analysts in conducting structured data gathering, research, and analysis.
- Coordinate downstream source systems and upstream data needs during implementation of a risk aggregation system.
Desired Qualifications
- Understanding of Basel 2, Basel 3, and Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions reporting requirements.
- Understanding of Moody’s RiskOrigin and RiskFrontier.
- Financial Risk Manager or Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
