Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree 8 years of relevant IAMD experience.
  • At least 10 years of combined experience managing complex programs and projects in support of the Department of Defense (DoD) or other federal agencies.
  • At least 3 years of experience supporting technical solutions to operational challenges in BMD and/or IAMD operations.
  • At least 2 years of experience supporting plans or operations at a COCOM, Service Component, Joint Staff, or Agency Staff level.
  • At least 3 years of experience supporting operations in the Indo-Pacific AOR.
  • Knowledge of USINDOPACOM plans, policy, and strategy and an understanding of joint integration including linkages to parallel national interests and component command operations.
  • Experience developing communications among various stakeholders to include Service Components, OSD, and Joint Staff.
  • Experience coordinating conferences and high-level meetings.
  • Experience in writing reports, graphics, and information papers.
  • Experience analyzing operational data.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products and SharePoint collaborative tools.
  • Must have an Active Top-Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance.
Responsibilities
  • Provide analysis to support planning, development, assessment, evaluation, and integration of USINDOPACOM and Component IAMD that focuses on existing and future IAMD capabilities to ensure adequate protection of critical assets in the USINDOPACOM AOR.
  • Enhance regional peace through interagency partnering, international military exercises, and the defense of U.S. interests abroad.
  • Support new concepts of national strategic policy, emerging technologies, and evolving partner nation requirements.
  • Recommend appropriate plans and TTPs that ensure the successful employment of limited, critical IAMD assets.
  • Researching and developing recommendations for next generation technological hardware and software; conduct mission capabilities evaluations; and provide the warfighter with analysis of future technologies.
  • Support the development of IAMD / Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) Concepts of Operations (CONOPS) for USINDOPACOM and its components that document how operators utilize IAMD/BMD systems and C2.
