Requirements
  • 5+ years in Quality Assurance, with 3+ years of that being in an equivalent Quality Engineering role
  • Experience in reading and writing C#
  • Experience testing at the editor or engine level
  • Experience with automation frameworks for game development, such as Gauntlet, Unity Test Framework, or GameDriver
  • Close vision to monitors and screens, consistently working on computer equipment such as keyboards and monitors, and long periods of sitting
  • Reasonable accommodations can be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions
Responsibilities
  • Work embedded with a multi-disciplinary development team in a highly technical product area, building test plans and providing risk assessments around features as they are being developed
  • Investigate, assess, and translate the automation needs of the product with input from Designers, Engineers, and QA
  • Write scripts for verifying and validating functionality of core game systems and tech, and to solve technical testing problems, including load testing with Virtual Machines and Backend / API testing
  • Write automated test cases within an existing framework and establish best practices around automation for QA across the project
  • Create and maintain internal documentation
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Python
  • Experience working in tandem with external testing teams
  • Experience supporting or working with visual scripting solutions like Blueprints, Kismet, Unity Visual Scripting, or equivalent
  • ISTQB Certification(s)
