Requirements
  • 5+ years of insurance experience in an account management, distribution, or underwriting function, preferably with a wholesaler, carrier or broker
  • 2+ years experience of team management experience with increasing responsibility
  • 2+ years experience in working with cyber and/or tech E&O insurance lines
  • Proven ability to grow and develop team members
  • Ability to analyze results, identify areas of improvement, and make strategic decisions
  • Proven track record of working with and strengthening high-impact broker relationships
  • Prior experience and success in account retention
Responsibilities
  • Develop a strategy for proactively ensuring renewal business remains with Cowbell
  • Coach, mentor, and develop Renewal Account Executives to enhance their skills and improve their process
  • Work closely with new business sales and underwriting team members
  • Implement and maintain a team structure to ensure all objectives are covered by R-AEs
  • Act as a point of escalation for questions, concerns, and decisions that require manager intervention or approval
  • With limited direction and independently, solve problems and adapt strategies to meet changing market conditions
  • Become a cyber expert, validating our partner agencies' trust in Cowbell
  • Set and monitor weekly, monthly and annual activity metrics
  • Collaborate with a passionate team, have fun, grow, learn, and teach the company along the way
  • Be a point of accountability for retention success
