Responsibilities
  • Define and implement the operational direction set by the Food and Beverage Manager and hotel management.
  • Define the commercial policy for the various outlets and supervise the department budget in line with the hotel's strategy.
  • Assist outlet managers in the field to ensure quality service and support changes to the offering and organization.
  • Control the profitability and productivity of outlets, including food cost, quality standards, guest satisfaction, and hygiene requirements.
  • Assist the Food and Beverage Manager in supervising the operational activities of the various outlets.
  • Review activity forecasts and prepare schedules in accordance with the hotel's commercial strategy and applicable legislation.
  • Improve restaurant results by optimizing sales, management, expenses, and profitability.
  • Monitor employee and hotel guest satisfaction and implement proactive processes to promote customer satisfaction.
  • Apply brand and hotel procedures and policies.
  • Provide guests with information about hotel services.
  • Implement actions to optimize revenue and profitability for each outlet in coordination with management.
  • Develop team motivation and engagement, establish a positive working environment, and implement operational directives, policies, and procedures.
  • Lead activities and create a work environment that supports achievement of objectives.
  • Manage, motivate, and organize teams in coordination with outlet managers to optimize service quality and creativity while respecting standards.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and promote diversity, equality, and compliance with Accor policies and legal obligations.
  • Contribute to departmental objectives by following hotel procedures and internal controls and developing sales.
  • Follow billing and cash-handling procedures.
  • Participate in inventories and place orders for different services when required.
  • Supervise the restaurant, bar, terrace, room service, minibar, breakfast service, ice-cream cart, bar trolley, and seasonal or event offerings under the Food and Beverage Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations and fire-evacuation procedures.
  • Maintain workplace cleanliness and the upkeep and proper operation of assigned equipment.
  • Ensure five-star service standards are followed and continuously monitor service quality.
  • Maintain an active presence on the floor during service.
  • Handle guest complaints and implement necessary corrective actions.
  • Personalize the guest experience and promote customer loyalty.

Treasure Island joins Accor's Handwritten Collection, marking group's Las Vegas Strip debut

Treasure Island TI Las Vegas Hotel has officially joined Accor's Handwritten Collection, marking the hospitality group's arrival on the Las Vegas Strip. The 2,884-room property becomes the largest hotel in Accor's global network. Opened in 1993, the hotel retains its distinctive pirate-themed character, including full-scale replicas of 17th-century ships at its entrance. The property offers a 24-hour casino, outdoor pool, spa, and hosts Mystère, a Cirque du Soleil show running for over 30 years. The hotel features diverse dining options and plans to open new Mexican and Italian restaurants in 2027. Rooms start from $69 per night. Guests can earn reward points through ALL Accor, the company's loyalty programme. The property holds Four Green Globes certification and partners with Volunteers in Medicine of Southern Nevada to support the local community.

Hilton, Radisson, and Accor plan 10+ Morocco hotels as tourism surges 20%

Morocco is experiencing an unprecedented tourism boom, with nearly 20 million international tourists visiting in 2026, marking a 20% year-on-year increase. Major destinations like Marrakesh have seen overnight stays surge by nearly 40%. Major hotel chains are capitalising on this growth with significant expansion plans. Hilton has opened a 55-room Waldorf Astoria in Rabat's Mohammed VI Tower and plans six new properties across Morocco by 2030, including Tapestry Collection hotels in Casablanca and Chefchaouen, plus DoubleTree and Curio Collection properties in Marrakech and Nador. Accor is developing a Sofitel Tangier for 2029 and partnering with local group Risma on a tourism academy. Radisson is constructing Radisson Blu and Radisson RED properties in Casablanca for 2028.
