$19.61–$29.63 per hour | Benefit Eligible

The Alice Center is seeking an enthusiastic and creativeActivities Coordinatorto plan and lead recreational and social activities for residents of our Assisted Living Program (ALP).

The ALP provides a supportive residential setting that promotes independence, dignity, choice, and quality of life. The Activities Coordinator will develop a variety of meaningful activities based on residents' interests and preferences, encourage voluntary participation, and help foster social connections within the facility and the greater community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Current continuing education credits pertinent to the activities profession.

• Must be eligible for certification as an ​Activity DirectororTherapeutic Recreation Specialist,orhave two (2) years of experience within the last five (5) years in an age-appropriate social or recreational program, including one (1) year of full-time experience in a patient or resident activities program in a healthcare setting.

• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

• Creativity and enthusiasm for working with older adults.
