Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience/knowledge in the area of Incident handling, alert tracking, change management.
  • Good understanding of network protocols, ports, and common services such as network and application layer protocols.
  • Understanding of mainstream operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.), and commonly used web browsers (Edge, IE, Chrome, Safari, Firefox).
  • Good knowledge in incident analysis, evidence collection, documentation, communications, reporting and response.
  • Experience in managing Proxy or Firewall. Basic Knowledge in Proxy, VPN, WAF and CDN solutions and network routing and switching.
  • First experience in troubleshooting webpages (IE dev tools).
  • Possess good communication and documentation skills (fluent English in written and verbal form).
Responsibilities
  • Identify and analyze potential service disruptions and security breaches in a modern and innovative network infrastructure using log files, performance tests, monitoring systems and ticket systems.
  • Resolve service disruptions and security breaches in close cooperation with other departments as well as cloud and service providers.
  • Operate the Zeiss Cloud Proxy, VPN, CDN and WAF systems.
  • Detect abnormal behavior, analyze for potential threats, and respond to them in a timely manner.
  • Support rotational 24x7 operational shifts.
