Requirements
  • Two to five years of relevant professional experience.
  • A Diploma of College Studies in aeronautical construction or mechanical engineering.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency with First Article Inspection processes.
  • Proficiency with CATIA V5 and 3DVia design and modeling software.
  • Knowledge of a Material Requirements Planning system such as SAP or BaaN.
  • Bilingual written and spoken French and English.
Responsibilities
  • Design parts or assemblies according to customer requests and customer and industry standards.
  • Modify or create 3D models of parts or assemblies.
  • Develop and interpret plans, drawings, and technical specifications for parts and assemblies.
  • Correct and incorporate changes into technical drawings.
  • Standardize 3D models and drawings according to customer and industry standards.
  • Analyze submitted modification requests.
  • Research technical-specification documentation when it is not provided by the customer.
  • Identify root causes and solve problems.
  • Provide technical support to production and engineering.
  • Support the drafting of quality procedures.
  • Share technical knowledge with team members.
  • Verify assembly manuals.
  • Understand the AS9100 standard requirements related to the responsibilities of the position.
  • Follow the company's quality-management-system procedures and apply its tools when carrying out tasks.

Sogeclair H1 2026 turnover $87.5M down 3.1%, stable at $89.8M at constant exchange rates

Sogeclair reported consolidated turnover of €78.1 million for the first half of 2026, down 3.1% year-on-year. At constant exchange rates, turnover reached €80.2 million, declining just 0.5%. Currency fluctuations, particularly between the euro and US dollar, negatively impacted results by €2.12 million. The French mobility solutions supplier experienced mixed sector performance during the period. Commercial Aviation, representing 37.4% of turnover, grew 1.2%, whilst Business Aviation declined 6.5% due to postponed developments. Defence fell 9.2% after strong growth in the previous year. The Automotive sector dropped 3.9% amid industry challenges. Geographically, France and Asia-Pacific saw declines of 4.5% and 16.5% respectively. North America and Europe excluding France posted modest gains of 1.1% and 3.3%.

Sogeclair Q1 2026 turnover at $44.7M, down 4.6% on currency effects

At constant exchange rates, turnover declined just 0.4% to €41.4 million, with currency fluctuations accounting for €1.7 million of the drop. Commercial Aviation (36.2% of turnover) fell 3.3%, whilst Business Aviation (33.7%) decreased 1.3%. The automotive sector dropped 12.2% to 7.0% of turnover, reflecting industry-wide challenges. Rail and Defence activities declined due to delayed public sector orders. Geographically, France (69% of turnover) limited its decline to 3.6%. The Americas region (23.3%) fell 4.2%, primarily due to currency effects, whilst Europe and Asia-Pacific saw sharp declines following strong growth in Q1 2025.

Sogeclair posts $181.1M turnover with EBITDA up 13% and dividend rising to $1.13 per share

The company appointed a new president, Alexandre Robardey, and chief executive officer, Philippe Brel, in January 2025, with a focus on profitability. The group invested in industrial activities, including expanding thermoplastic composite production capacity and launching an additive manufacturing plant. Europe and Africa (75.2% of turnover) posted strong growth of 8.6%, whilst the Americas region (22.4% of turnover) saw profitability decline due to currency effects. The company is listed on Euronext Growth in Paris. Fourth-quarter turnover reached €42.9 million, marking the eighteenth consecutive quarter of growth since Q2 2021, rising 4.0% (6.4% at constant exchange rates and perimeter). Commercial aviation, representing 35.8% of turnover, grew 3.8% through customer diversification. Defence surged 28.3%, whilst business aviation declined 8.1% due to unfavourable base effects. The automotive sector remained stable at 0.3%, whilst rail grew 4.1% and space increased 6.8%. Sogeclair noted that market diversification supported growth despite geopolitical uncertainty and automotive market challenges.
