The Tripadvisor Analytics team is seeking a passionate analyst to support our native App product team. In this role, you will provide actionable insights about our mobile app platform to stakeholders across numerous teams. You will contribute your expertise in user behavior analysis, measurement and experimentation to help drive decisions across our global business.

What You’ll Do:

• Partner with product and other internal stakeholders to understand your team’s data and business needs

• Become an expert in translating your team’s needs into specific analysis, metrics or reports that yield actionable insights 

• Bring a practical bent to analytic problem solving, identifying the most relevant and  solutions

• Analyze user behaviors, transactional, and financial data to uncover issues or opportunities your team can use to drive higher product, feature or content engagement

• Enable stakeholders to access data and monitor key business metrics by building and maintaining dashboard reporting

• Advise on test design (A/B, multivariate, etc.), analyze test results to measure the impact of changes, and make recommendations to stakeholders

• Communicate findings and data insights to your stakeholders with a point of view and desire to enable your teams to make a data-driven decision
   

What We Seek:

• Educational background or 4+ years professional experience with a heavy quantitative, analytical focus, preferably in a technology-focused company

• Experience working with large datasets; particularly data mining, manipulation and exploration using SQL, R, Python, or another tool. Exposure to an AB testing tool such as Optimizely, Adobe, etc. is a plus.

• Technical aptitude to learn new tools, technologies, and methodologies

• Enthusiasm for problem-solving and exploring and deriving insights from large datasets

• Ability to translate complex analysis findings into a clear narrative and actionable insights to communicate to stakeholders

• Experience visualizing data for wide consumption, with Tableau experience a plus

• Ability to think about the business holistically and from the viewpoint of the customer. Experience with mobile consumer applications is a plus.

• Eagerness to help other team members and find active ways to contribute to the team

The salary range for this role is $95,000 to $150,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. An employee’s pay position within the wage range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance and business or organizational needs. This compensation range may also be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.  We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending accounts, and tuition reimbursement to eligible employees.
