Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field is required.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience is required, preferably in enrollment marketing, performance marketing, or a complex matrixed organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across centralized and decentralized teams while balancing shared goals with local program needs.
  • Proficiency with digital marketing channels and analytics tools.
  • A credit history check and standard background checks must be successfully completed.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
  • Develop data-driven marketing plans that increase conversion for assigned graduate programs.
  • Refine and articulate program value propositions with stakeholders and craft positioning that distinguishes programs from peer institutions.
  • Analyze inquiry pools, understand prospective-student needs and readiness, and develop audience personas to guide messaging and channel strategy.
  • Recommend budget allocation across programs and channels and allocate resources to maximize enrollment impact.
  • Define the strategy and architecture for nurture and yield campaigns and direct execution across email, paid digital, and retargeting channels.
  • Develop journey logic and messaging frameworks for automated lifecycle journeys segmented by program, audience, and funnel stage.
  • Commission content teams or external vendors to produce assets covering career outcomes, curriculum, faculty, and student experience.
  • Define content requirements and messaging strategies for landing pages, video, advertisements, and other multimedia while adhering to University brand standards.
  • Brief and evaluate content teams or external vendors when necessary.
  • Partner with PGP program managers to design recruitment events, information sessions, and open houses, and direct supporting collateral and digital promotions.
  • Establish program-level key performance indicators and measurement frameworks.
  • Own reporting on program marketing, including inquiry-to-application rate, yield rate by program, and cost per enrolled student.
  • Analyze data to determine which emails, advertisements, and events contribute most to enrollment and ensure return on investment on college-level spending.
  • Run A/B tests on Smeal-specific messaging and landing pages to optimize performance.
  • Provide occasional evening or weekend support for recruitment events.

  • Ability to connect university-level brand strategy with college- and program-level marketing.
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and customer relationship management integration.
