SHADOW is seeking a Senior Strategist, who will develop integrated marketing strategies on behalf of agency clients. This position will report directly to the Strategy Director and Executive Creative Director, as well as oversee a Creative Strategist. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized and curious, with at least 5-8 years of work experience in developing 360° marketing programs across social, influencer, PR, events and content, either in-house for a brand or in an agency setting. This position requires the submission of a portfolio.

- Agility and Organization: You’ve got a buttoned up approach to project management and are able to move quickly and react quickly to news or social conversations.
- Team Oriented: Strategy at SHADOW connects various disciplines and you will have the opportunity to work cross-functionally at the agency.
- Research and Data-Driven: You are a master of research, insights and data, distill cultural and people insights, and facilitate their translation into compelling campaign concepts or help brand teams see things in new lights.
- Preferred: Familiarity with Keynote, Adobe Creative Suite and/or other editing tools
What You Do:
- Client Creative Strategy: Dissect client strategy briefs and new business RFPs, and set forward the strategy development process of cultural and categorical research, identify insights, and assemble both creative campaign concepts and tactical execution plans across PR, influencer, media, social, event, and content creation.
- Brainstorm & Ideation: Regularly participate in, and occasionally lead, agency brainstorms – whether it’s coming up with a quirky idea that leans into the “absurd” or a strategic partnership to propel a client into new verticals.
- Strategic Counsel: Meet regularly with account teams to provide strategic counsel and support that strengthens the day-to-day activity happening on behalf on clients.
- Presentation and Deck Development: Lead the development of pitch decks for both existing and prospective clients, synthesizing research, insights, ideas and input from various agency stakeholders, and then working with the art team for layout.
- Research & Insights: You will drive the gathering of research, insights, and trends broadly across the industry and brands as well as stay up to date on general macro trends across pop culture.
Annual Compensation
$85K - $115K commensurate with experience
