Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of AEC experience with a transportation focus with at least 3 years in a BIM-focused role.
  • Proficient in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) for transportation and infrastructure projects.
  • Proficient in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, ACC, Synchro, and Civil3D, and InfraWorks.
  • Proficiency in BIM authoring platforms from Bentley Systems (e.g. OpenRoads, OpenBridge, etc.).
  • Experience managing complex, multidisciplinary projects in a BIM environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot technical challenges.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
  • BIM Management Duties ~70%: Manage and maintain project CDE, ensuring consistent data organization and access
  • BIM Management Duties ~70%: Manage Bentley tools such as ProjectWise, OpenRoads, OpenBridge, and MicroStation
  • BIM Management Duties ~70%: Manage Autodesk tools such as Civil 3D, InfraWorks, Revit, and Autodesk Construction Cloud
  • BIM Management Duties ~70%: Troubleshoot technical and modeling issues throughout the project lifecycle
  • BIM Management Duties ~70%: Assist designers in using a model-centric workflow for more accurate design and analysis
  • BIM Management Duties ~70%: Identify project and client requirements and select the most effective software solutions
  • BIM Management Duties ~70%: Assign key digital staff and help mitigate potential project risks
  • BIM Management Duties ~70%: Support collaboration among engineers, surveyors, contractors, and other stakeholders to improve coordination and reduce errors

Desired Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related industry experience.
  • Proficiency in ProjectWise.
  • Understanding of 3D, 4D, and 5D BIM processes, including clash detection, scheduling, and quantity take-offs.
  • Knowledge of ISO 19650 and other relevant BIM standards.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
