Requirements

High School Diploma, equivalent or higher
At least 1 year Heavy truck parts knowledge required
Karmak software knowledge is a plus
Demonstrated customer service excellence
Proven ability to work well in a team
Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office, Outlook and internet functions and other computer software applications
Must have valid driver's license with clean driving record
Ability to pass a physical/drug test and background/MVR check

Answers phones and greets customers in a polite & expedient manner
Look up parts, ensuring the part(s) are correct to the customer and Company satisfaction
Establishes strong customer relations
Meets or exceeds monthly and annual sales plans
Works with outside parts sales to develop and service our customers
Performs sales related duties or other tasks as assigned by the company
Keeps working area clean and orderly
Participates in all recommended training to improve productivity
Additional duties as assigned

As a Parts Counter Sales person, you will be responsible for the retail, commercial and industrial sales of transportation products and services to retail customers and the Service Department. The Parts Expert must be a good steward of the company, cross sell departments, utilize and manage all company resources, meet departmental objectives and be above all reproach.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Answers phones and greets customers in a polite & expedient manner.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ABILITIES:

Requires frequent sitting, standing, balancing, bending or stooping for prolonged periods of time.
Manual dexterity, fine manipulation and the ability to reach with hands and arms and lift up to 70 lbs.
Constantly moving 20 lbs. to move objects.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

High School Diploma, equivalent or higher

JOB DETAILS

Type: Hourly
Compensation range: starting at $18.00/hour
Bonus Eligibility: Yes
Shift: 9:30am - 6p (Monday - Friday)
Reports to Parts Manager
