- Experience architecting cloud-native distributed systems, including service discovery, fault tolerance, inter-service communication, operational resilience, and Spring Cloud technologies such as Eureka, Config Server, and API Gateway, is required.
- Experience with DevOps, continuous integration and continuous delivery, and containerization practices using Maven, Docker, Kubernetes, and automated deployment pipelines is required.
- Experience designing and optimizing transactional data platforms using SQL Server and Oracle is required.
- Experience establishing quality engineering standards through Test-Driven Development, automated testing, functional validation, and Behavior-Driven Development using JUnit, Mockito, and Cucumber is required.
- Experience leading production support and operational excellence initiatives, including performance tuning, incident management, root cause analysis, system monitoring, observability, and proactive risk mitigation using Grafana and Prometheus, is required.
- Experience providing technical leadership across the full software development lifecycle and influencing engineering standards, code quality, architecture decisions, and continuous improvement initiatives is required.
- Experience using AI-assisted development technologies such as Claude and Windsurf within established governance frameworks is required.
- Design, develop, test, and deliver scalable full-stack solutions supporting ETF technology platforms and critical business workflows.
- Partner with product owners, business stakeholders, architects, quality assurance, infrastructure, and production support teams to deliver reliable technology outcomes.
- Contribute to modernization initiatives across Java, microservices, application programming interfaces, front-end applications, data integration, and DevOps delivery practices.
- Drive engineering quality through clean code, automated testing, code reviews, secure development practices, and disciplined release execution.
- Support production stability by troubleshooting complex issues, performing root cause analysis, improving observability, and reducing operational risk.
- Improve platform resiliency, scalability, maintainability, and performance through thoughtful design and continuous improvement.
- Apply AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering practices to improve productivity, accelerate delivery, and enhance software quality responsibly.
- Communicate with technology and business partners, provide clear updates, raise risks early, and contribute to successful project execution.
- An advanced degree is preferred.
