Requirements

3-4 years of content marketing, copywriting, or journalism experience in Fintech, banking, or financial services
Experience setting, executing, and scaling a content strategy across social and web
Experience researching keywords, identifying opportunities, and producing Fintech content at scale that is designed to rank in the SERPs
Sound understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO best practices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in SEMRush, Spyfu, Similar Web, Ahrefs, or similar tools
Experience working with AI copywriters such as Jasper, Writesonic, copymatic or similar is preferred but not required
Portfolio of strong writing samples from your previous experience

Responsibilities

Own content marketing end-end, which includes everything from keyword research and content drafting to reporting monthly results to the executive team
Work with external agencies to both generate new backlinks from relevant DR 60+ sites and supplement internal copywriting efforts
Work with internal and external teams to transform and repurpose long-form content into other mediums: ebooks, decks, videos, and social snippets
Optimize new and existing content from an on-page perspective, and advise as necessary on off-page and technical optimizations

We’re looking for someone to take our content to the next level. In this role, you’ll be responsible for both setting the strategy and executing it.

The ideal candidate will have experience scaling content programs from both 0-1 and 1-10. They’ll feel as comfortable sharing progress updates with the executive team, as they are drafting and publishing articles to the website.

As with most startups, every day is different. Sometimes it’ll be all hands on deck for a launch at 6 o’clock in the morning, while other days it’ll be a late-night session to make sure everything goes smoothly with a new site rollout. That said, this will be your opportunity to leave your mark on the world—your career-defining moment.

So who will you work with, and what will you actually do?

As a founding member of the marketing team, you’ll work closely with Arc-itects across the company. Some days you’ll work with our product org to understand the latest customer research and address content gaps in the buyer’s journey, while other days you’ll work with sales to create pieces of content that address commonly faced objections. When you’re not collaborating with others, you’ll be executing the content strategy you set. You’ll conduct keyword research, draft content outlines, turn those into full-fledged guides, enrich them with semantic keywords and external links, request custom illustrations/charts/visuals from the design team, and work with the web team to ensure they’ve been formatted correctly.
