Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage the seasonal merchandising calendar for assigned live sports properties, anticipating operational complexity across concurrent events.
  • Lead campaign execution during peak sports periods and make real-time prioritization decisions without oversight.
  • Design and execute A/B tests for carousel positioning, creative assets, and messaging frameworks with stakeholder teams.
  • Schedule, publish, and quality-assure Prime Video live sports content across the Prime Video Storefront, X-Site, and Fire TV.
  • Execute merchandising requests from Marketing Managers, CAMs, and Content Operations teams while identifying gaps, risks, and dependencies.
  • Establish and maintain quality-assurance standards for live event placements.
  • Own live monitoring during game broadcasts and drive rapid identification, escalation, and resolution of technical issues or customer-facing errors.
  • Verify compliance with league brand guidelines, broadcast rights requirements, and partner agreements.
  • Build and maintain reporting mechanisms for execution quality, issue trends, and resolution metrics.
  • Use AI-assisted anomaly detection and automated quality-assurance workflows to identify defects during high-volume sports weekends.
  • Serve as the operational point of contact for Marketing, CAMs, and Content Operations, communicating status and managing execution-timeline expectations.
  • Evaluate and prioritize competing merchandising demands across stakeholder teams, including decisions to defer, decline, or escalate requests based on customer-facing risk and strategic priority.
  • Escalate blockers with context and recommended solutions.
  • Document workflows, create and maintain standard operating procedures, and build knowledge-base articles.
  • Provide structured feedback on tooling gaps and process inefficiencies and partner with leadership on system improvements.
  • Use existing AI tools to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort while validating outputs against brand and compliance standards.

Amazon's Zoox and Alphabet's Waymo expand robotaxi services to new US cities

Amazon integrates shopping into Prime Video with X-Ray feature and visual search across 8,000 titles

Amazon has introduced new shopping features for Prime Video viewers. The retail giant is integrating product discovery across thousands of titles through its X-Ray experience, which currently displays actor information and soundtrack details. Users can now access a Shop tab by pausing video and pressing up on their Fire TV remote. A new "Shop the Scene" feature uses Amazon's Lens technology to identify products from characters' outfits and home décor. The updates enhance last year's "Shop the Show" feature, which required typing a search query. The improved second-screen experience now automatically opens relevant storefronts when users launch the Amazon Shopping app whilst watching content. "Shop the Scene" is available on iOS and Android across more than 600 titles, whilst "Shop the Show" has expanded from 1,300 to over 8,000 titles in the US.
