Requirements
  • Ability to obtain Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline with 5 - 7 years of experience, or a Master's Degree and 3 to 5 years of experience.
  • Understanding of additive manufacturing types, limitations, and printing considerations in adapting parts for 3D printing
  • Understanding of Air Force Configuration Control requirements and CM2 Configuration Control best practices; experience preparing/reviewing technical documents for Configuration Control Boards
  • Experience in performing finite element analysis and modeling
  • Experience in developing standards and guidelines for tasks being performed, able to brief and convey to the government team clear descriptions of such
  • Excellent oral and written communication skill sets
  • Experience analyzing technical documents and infrastructure for compliance with objectives and thresholds; able to articulate findings and recommend remedies or alternatives.
Responsibilities
  • Perform a full lifecycle product development (design, develop, test prototypes, manufacture and implement)
  • Design systems and components that meet needs and requirements
  • Conduct experiments methodically, analyzes data and interpret results
  • Identify, formulate, and produce effective solutions to emerging problems
  • Evaluate final product’s overall performance, reliability, and safety
  • Alter and modify design to meet requirements and to eliminate malfunctions
  • Prepare product reports and documentation
  • Engage in lifelong learning and develop new theories or methods
  • Support operational strategies aligned within your program and initiatives that optimize processes, enhance productivity, and ensure quality across all program functions.
  • Ensure 100% of planned hours are worked and recorded
  • Identify and forward to your leadership any opportunities that could lead to growth within your work area
  • Ensure all contractual deliverables are met/exceeded to the customer's satisfaction
  • Completes personal PDP and attend Staff Meeting and Storytime (with camera on)
  • Within your program, build productive and positive professional relationships with clients
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
