- Responsible for establishing and ensuring the effective operation of the workflow in the Measurement and Testing Laboratory, ensuring the successful execution of IQC lab/FA lab inspections.
- Responsible for label distribution, ensuring effective labeling on equipment and tools.
- Responsible for establishing records and effectively tracking and implementing MSA/calibration plans for all measuring equipment within the factory. Coordinating external and/or internal calibration activities to comply with relevant laws and calibration regulations.
- Responsible for sporadic procurement and acceptance matters related to measuring instruments in the factory.
- B.S. Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Chemistry
- 5+ years relevant experience out of manufacturing (Preferably out of batteries or automotive)
- Proficient in instrument testing, calibration, and verification
- Familiar with the measurement requirements of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and VDA
- Organizational and coordination skills: Mobilizing internal and external resources to address MSA and measurement-related issues.

Volkswagen has increased its stake in Chinese battery manufacturer Gotion to approximately 33%, following an initial $1 billion investment in 2020. The move strengthens Volkswagen's position in solid-state battery technology development. Gotion has completed a pilot production line with a 90% yield rate and is building a 2 GWh production facility for solid-state batteries. The company's batteries promise up to 1,000 kilometres of range, with energy density of around 350 Wh per kilogram, compared to 280 Wh per kilogram for current batteries. Gotion has filed over 30 patents and claims its batteries can operate in temperatures from minus 40°C to 80°C. The company is also developing a semi-solid battery with 300 Wh per kilogram density as a transitional technology. Volkswagen also holds stakes in QuantumScape, diversifying its solid-state battery strategy.
