Requirements
  • You have 2-6 years building and shipping product.
  • You are strong across the stack and can build a React component, write a backend service, and debug a database query.
  • You genuinely enjoy customer interaction and have been on customer calls before.
  • You are an AI-native engineer who’s far more productive because of AI and you live in Cursor, Claude Code, or similar tools, with evidence of higher productivity.
  • You have an owner's mindset and are self-driven, resourceful, and able to operate in production without being told what to do.
  • You have experience working in high-intensity environments such as startups or high-growth teams, where speed and quality both matter.
  • You are a positive influence on every team with low ego and high standards.
  • You can work across frontend and backend and are not helpless in any part of the stack.
  • You understand the importance of quality and testing and write tests to deploy with confidence.
Responsibilities
  • Ship features end-to-end from problem understanding to production across frontend and backend.
  • Talk to customers regularly: join calls, gather feedback, and translate their problems into solutions.
  • Write code that lasts with tests, edge case handling, and clear documentation.
  • Review code thoughtfully and hold the bar on quality for the team.
  • Debug production issues and make sure they do not happen again.
  • Help cultivate the engineering culture as one of the founding engineers of this pod.
Desired Qualifications
  • Nice to have: SQL proficiency and experience working with data warehouses (we use Snowflake for analytics).
  • Experience with data engineering or analytics tooling is a plus.
  • Experience with automated testing and test-driven development is a plus.
