Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience within business development, market and competitor analysis, lead generation, prospecting, and customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales, professional services or engineering consulting
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated with a “hunter” mentality and a drive to exceed targets
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with executives and decision-makers
  • Demonstrated ability to pursue opportunities with professionalism and positivity
  • Expertise in cultivating long-lasting business relationships

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time mainly within West Michigan, and other areas as needed including trade shows, conferences, networking events, etc.
  • Must have the current and continuing right to work in the United States of America without restrictions or expirations.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to identify and engage new potential clients seeking professional consulting services
  • Conduct comprehensive research on target companies and industries to gain insights into their needs and challenges
  • Actively pursue opportunities through cold calling and marketing efforts to effectively communicate our service offerings and tailor solutions to client requirements
  • Maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities, providing regular forecasts and reports on progress
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions that may impact our services and shares findings with the greater team
  • Develop a deep understanding of DISHER’s Product & Process areas, including the product development lifecycle, and consulting services
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets for new business acquisition
  • Work to achieve a high conversion rate from leads to closed deals
  • Contribute significantly to the overall growth of our engineering consulting services
