KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for tracking, entering, reconciling, reporting and allocating all trading activity
- Provide support to the asset set-up and Security Master File process
- Responsible for providing world class operational support for the Investor Relations, Finance, and Fund Management teams
- Work closely with Compliance, Tax, and Legal teams on an as needed basis to obtain approvals and resolve issues
- Work with other team members to maintain a scalable operations function that provides a high level of support to the Special Situations organization
- Collaborate alongside/with other operational departments to provide coverage and product knowledge
- Continually analyze, review, and improve the working practices and processes of the Special Situations Operations team
- Identify and research complex transactions and communicate to stakeholders both internally and externally
- Opportunity to learn additional investment strategies within BCC
DESIRED BACKGROUND/EDUCATION
BS or BA in Accounting, Finance, or Economics; 3.25 GPA or higher
1-3 years of relevant work experience
- Experience with deal flow and deal fundings a plus
- Experience in Advent Geneva preferred
Well-rounded candidates preferred
