Requirements
  • BS or BA in Accounting, Finance, or Economics; 3.25 GPA or higher
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience with deal flow and deal fundings a plus
  • Experience in Advent Geneva preferred
  • Detail-oriented, conscientious, and energetic professional with ability to think creatively
  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities and work under deadlines
  • Ability to read and decipher complex legal documents
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with capacity to interact with outside parties and personnel across all levels of the firm

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for tracking, entering, reconciling, reporting and allocating all trading activity
  • Provide support to the asset set-up and Security Master File process
  • Responsible for providing world class operational support for the Investor Relations, Finance, and Fund Management teams
  • Work closely with Compliance, Tax, and Legal teams on an as needed basis to obtain approvals and resolve issues
  • Work with other team members to maintain a scalable operations function that provides a high level of support to the Special Situations organization
  • Collaborate alongside/with other operational departments to provide coverage and product knowledge
  • Continually analyze, review, and improve the working practices and processes of the Special Situations Operations team
  • Identify and research complex transactions and communicate to stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Opportunity to learn additional investment strategies within BCC
