Who You Are
Brightwheel is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager for our go-to-market technical teams which enable our customer facing support, success, sales, and operations teams. You previously lived the life of an engineer in the data space before transitioning to your TPM role. You will be responsible for driving cross-team technical project velocity by project managing many highly complex initiatives that require collaboration across Analytics, Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, and Systems.
Our technology stack consists of Salesforce, Revenue.io , Gong, LeanData, Tableau, Sigma, DBT, Redshift, Airflow. Ideally, you will have experience driving multifaceted technical programs across a large number of these technologies with demonstrated depth in more than one area.
What You’ll Do
- Drive cross-team technical project velocity by project managing many highly complex go-to-market initiatives that require collaboration across 3 or more technical teams and 2 or more business teams.
- Lead the discovery for open-ended business problems by partnering with data analytics and data scientists. Supported by data engineering and systems administrators.
- Drive methodology and consistency in the way we organize and communicate technical programs for resourcing efficiency and delivery date precision.
- Project manage a team of passionate data engineers, analysts, and systems administrators to ensure efficient delivery of projects in a timely fashion and with quality.
- Work closely with the Go-to-Market business teams to develop technical plans and goals, as well as to refine processes to improve collaboration.
- Drive process improvements to increase program velocity while simultaneously raising the bar for quality and operational excellence.
Qualifications, Skills, & Abilities
- You have 4+ years experience and proven skills in program management for Go-To-Market and/or data analytics technologies.
- You have 2+ years experience guiding and coordinating 5+ teams (3 technical, 2 business) on complex technical projects.
- You have a pragmatic approach to developing right-sized processes that help teams operate effectively while delivering high value business outcomes.
- Exceptional project management skills demonstrated through driving successful multi-team projects from inception to completion.
- You work very well cross-functionally and are able to make hard decisions and trade-offs while incorporating a diversity of perspectives.
- You’re an empathetic listener with strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
