Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Previous grocery, retail, or beverage experience is a plus.
  • Maintain a valid Montana driver's license and a good driving record.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, vendors, governmental agencies, and the public.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers, employees, customers, and account contacts.
  • Work independently and handle a wide range of tasks.
  • Understand and effectively communicate the company's organizational mission and goals.
  • Read pricing tags, product labels, and documentation, and see adequately while driving.
  • Hear sufficiently to communicate with employees and account contacts and to hear horns and alarms in backstock areas.
  • Stand and walk for long periods, including bending, reaching, lifting, and pulling.
  • Lift, carry, and move 35 pounds continually and occasionally up to 165 pounds; push or pull loaded flat carts with up to 160 pounds of resistance.
  • Work in conditions involving extreme cold, extreme heat, vibration, moving mechanical parts, outdoor weather, and occasional wet or humid environments.
Responsibilities
  • Receive daily work requests at the start of each workday.
  • Review instructions from supervisors, sales managers, and sales representatives.
  • Serve all assigned accounts according to schedule.
  • Pull outdated, damaged, and unsellable products, place them in back stock, and notify the Summit salesperson.
  • Stock, rotate, and face products in coolers, on shelves, on racks, and in displays.
  • Work back stock and organize it as required by the supervisor and sales representative.
  • Refill, rotate, and maintain presentable sales promotion displays according to store and company standards.
  • Assist in resolving customer inquiries and service complaints.
  • Notify the supervisor of problems or opportunities with assigned accounts.
  • Conduct a final account walkthrough, including cleanup and trash removal.
  • Follow company policies and procedures.
  • Follow applicable federal, state, and local regulations regarding merchandising alcoholic beverages.
  • Properly maintain company property, including company vehicles.
