Telepractice Speech Language Pathologist

Overview

LEARN Academy/Learn It Academic Services is now interviewing for a minimal part-time Telepractice Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services in Florida.  Must have FL licensure. 

• Local Clinical Manager support
• Part-time, approx. 1.5 hours per week (Wednesdays between 8am-11am) 
• Competitive Compensation ~ Up to W2 $48/hour DOE

Responsibilities

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' communication abilities in areas such as articulation, fluency, voice, and expressive and receptive language.
• Develop and implement speech and language therapy intervention plans that align with students' IEP goals and educational needs.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate speech and language strategies into the educational curriculum and provide consultative services.
• Contribute to the IEP process by providing insights on student progress and recommending appropriate interventions.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student assessments, interventions, and progress.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development activities to stay current with best practices in school-based speech and language therapy.
• Provide expertise in assistive technology and communication strategies to support student access to the curriculum.
• Collaborate with the special education team to ensure occupational speech and language therapy services align with the least restrictive environment (LRE) principle.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited program
• Pass the Praxis Examination in Speech-Language Pathology 
• Maintain license per ASHA requirements
• Current FL State Licensure
