Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED and 6 years of IC experience or military intelligence and watch experience.
  • Associates degree with 4 years of IC experience or military intelligence and watch experience.
  • Bachelors degree with 2 years of IC experience or military intelligence and watch experience.
  • Masters degree with 0 years of IC experience or military intelligence and watch experience.
  • Knowledge of DHS I&A authorities and Intelligence Community Directives.
  • Knowledge of Intelligence Watch style reporting.
  • Knowledge of Intelligence Watch warnings and indicators.
  • Knowledge of writing Situational Reports (SITREP).
  • Ability to work a 4/10 shift schedule.
Responsibilities
  • Support an Open Source Collections Team by monitoring sources for information related to alerts, emergencies, threats, or other identified criteria.
  • Research, assess, and summarize evaluated and previously unevaluated information, discerning between useful and inapplicable information.
  • Use collected information to create formatted intelligence products and updates.
  • Perform duties on-site with the client at the Department of Homeland Security's Headquarters element.
