Requirements
  • A university Master's degree in Actuarial Science.
  • Fluency in Italian and English.
  • Advanced skills using major information technology tools, especially Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Advanced knowledge of probability distributions used to implement aggregate loss distributions, including Poisson, Negative Binomial, Lognormal, and Gaussian distributions.
  • A strong understanding of Solvency II Standard Formula capital calculations and regulatory requirements.
  • Intermediate knowledge of R and Python.
  • Intermediate knowledge of dashboard creation tools such as Power BI.
Responsibilities
  • Use statistical and analytical tools to explore and interpret data and identify significant trends and patterns.
  • Apply advanced statistical models to estimate probability distributions associated with risk variables and contribute to detailed risk assessments.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of existing insurance programs and develop recommendations to maximize client value.
  • Analyze Solvency II capital requirements using the Standard Formula approach.
  • Develop interactive tools for dynamic, real-time data visualization, including customizable dashboards that support data-driven decisions.
  • Work closely with other teams to understand project needs and adapt analyses accordingly.
